As a bilingual actress in the US, she finds herself in a unique position, using her language skills in many on-camera projects and off-camera voice-over projects. She has done work for major corporations including McDonald’s, Motorola, Rockwell Automation, Hewlett Packard, Nalco Company, Eaton Corporation, Taylor Company, etc. and many other organizations. She also employs her talent producing and directing radio/TV/video projects and was the associate producer for a PBS documentary China Now. Hu takes pride in giving her very best in everything she does. Working on OH MY SOUL was an interesting experience for Hu to say the least — playing a character who died and is then revived. “However weird it may sound, you can always find something that connects you to the character — vulnerability, inner loneliness, striving for survival, a longing for something that may never come true. We all struggle with these fears and emotions,” says Hu. She thanks Nick and the crew for their professionalism and dedication throughout the filming and would like to dedicate her performance in this film to her new son Rayteng, in whom she finds new meaning to life. |
